What She Wore: Gossip Girl Season 5 Fashion Update

Hello fashionistas! Today we’re checking out what fashions the leading ladies of Gossip Girl Season 5 have been wearing. Blair Waldorf

Wedding boutiques better stock up on Theia Fall 2011 wedding gowns because it’s what Blair wore on the premiere episode of Gossip Girl. She looked like a bride straight out of a Shakespeare sonnet.

With Blair’s style, less is definitely more. She’s wearing an Oscar De La Renta gown from the SS 2011 collection. This elegant floral print strapless dress is fitted at the top and parachutes at the bottom into a high low ascending hem. Blaire’s gown is accessorized with an orange snakeskin designer clutch.

Blair is wearing a more casual look in this jewel print Moschino Cheap & Chic dress. The dress is normally a knee length, so what we see is a little set stylist trick on how to make a conservative dress sexy. Trick number one, tailor the dress to mini length according to actress’s height. Trick number two, use the excess fabric to accessorize the dress further, for example create a bow or belt for and add to the dress as seen above. And presto, instant Gossip Girl glam!

Serena van der Woodsen

Above Serena is wearing a crisp white luxury tank top by Rag & Bone, open front black and white beaded city chic vest by Theyskens Theory, a floor length maxi skirt with an intricate feather design by Rag & Bone, accessorized with mixed ocean blue precious stone pivot bracelets by MCL by Matthew Campbell Laurenza and a stunning Rockstud Python luxury tote by Valentino.

Next Serena wore a yellow and peach iridescent sleeveless mini wrap dress by Mike Gonzalez, paired with a large beaded flower statement necklace by Noir, with brown peep toe gladiator sandals by Roger Vivier and green luxury Louis Vuitton Vernis Alma status bag.

Serena always manages to look bright and sunny on the Gossip Girl show. Pictured above she’s wearing a super edgy studded silk tank top by Maje Cream, paired with the crème de la crème of Alice and Olivia dresses (Alice + Olivia Shannon Printed Maxi) a pleated maxi dress skirt. She also wore some subtle color blocking by adding a turquoise statement necklace completing her look.

Fall Must See TV: Gossip Girl Season 5 Premiere

Serena – Apparently Serena is going to try her luck at becoming a starlet and heat up the screen with a new love interest who is neither Nate nor Dan. We hear her new love interest is hot, steamy and worth the ratings.

Dan – On a true love driven mission, Dan has bigger demons to face with his feelings for Blair and her wedding into Royalty. We can’t wait to see what’s next in Dan’s quest for true love in the city, with Vanessa gone and out of the picture we are curious to see where his story will take him during season 5.

Blair – Queen B is on a mission to claim her rightful thrown as princess, but will her history with big love Chuck be too much for her to overcome in the end. Or how about this scenario; will the feelings that Blair developed for Lonely Boy in Season 4 be something that she can’t deny as much as she wants to. Does Blair actually have the nerve to dump a Prince at the altar? All eyes on Blair for Season 5.

Chuck – Has Chuck really given up on Blair and let her go into the arms of another man. Is this the same person who once proclaimed Blair belongs to him? No, Chuck and Blair is a big love and possibly even bigger than the two of them. Apart they are unpredictable which makes them a favorite to watch, but somehow Chuck is not the same man without Blair (without true love). Will Chuck find true love again in Season 5?

Nate – Last but certainly not least was Nathaniel is up to his old tricks again, sexually that is. We hear his new love interest is Elizabeth Hurley and the two have a steamy chemistry that supposedly pales in comparison to his love scenes with the Duchess. Come on Archibald, you’ve had the best so what’s up with the flings? Will Nate find his way back to his Upper Eastside loves? Or will he keep sliding down this loveless slippery slope. We hope to get some answers from Season 5.

Taylor Momsen: "Solo quiero hacer música"

Taylor Momsen ha anunciado su retiro en el mundo de la actuación ya que solo desea estar enfocada en su música.

La cantante, ha estado de gira ocupada en el último año con su banda "The Pretty Reckless". Momsen declaró a la revista "Elle" que no tenía planes en regresar a la actuación y estaba decidida a seguir en Tour con su banda.

Taylor dijo: "Dejé de actuar, en realidad dejé Gossip Girl, por ahora estoy de gira y es todo lo que quiero hacer. Espero ser capaz de estar en esto por el resto de mi vida."

También añadió cuanto ama hacer música: "Escribir es un proceso muy difícil, pero el momento más gratificante llega al grabar una canción."
